1000 + 1 Shirt (Drawings and Collages, 2004-2014)

The aim of this project is to imagine the meaning of this shape. It can be simply seen as a shirt, a T-shirt; or one can imagine a cross; or the image of someone opening their arms to embrace. The German language has a large number of words beginning with the letter “T” having – to me – a meaning related to its particular form (Tod, Teufel, Turm, Tor, Tempel…)
